Meet Eminence, one of our first frames and a staple here at Detour. Eminence features spring hinges for all day comfort, metal embedded logos, and polarized UV400 protective lenses!

Our Eminence models are all equipped with sturdy and comfortable spring hinges, laser engraved lens, raised Detour emblem and a “Create your own destiny” quote printed on the inner arm.

Since life is all about making things happen, whether it is landing that job you want, asking your crush out on a date, or dealing with a fear we decided to slap a "Create your own destiny" quote on the inner arm. Sometimes instead of waiting for things to fall into place you have to go out and make it happen! Life is too short to wait for things to happen, you have to go out and get it! Your shades are covered for 6 months! If life throws you a curve ball and you break them within this period just send them back and we will get them repaired or replaced, no questions asked!

Scratched lenses are not covered. Limit to amount of times you can claim a warranty replacement is once per pair.

Our Eminence Frame Fits Medium/Large Faces Best

I need to exchange these for another pair. I have tried calling. I entered an exchange request three days ago. I emailed detour yesterday for an update or next steps. They sent me a link to enter an exchange request, which I already did. Customer service is terrible.

I love the tortoise shell look and the black gives it a nice sleep classic look! Feel very nice and sturdy!

My first pair of glasses was great. I love them. The new pair, I don't think they are for big heads.

Good for small/med head

Screwed up what I ordered and it up and it’s ok. Gave them to my neighbor and he loves them and they look really good on him. Will not be returning them because that’s what friends do.
