Breach XL - Matte Black - Clear Z87+ glasses are built for people who need a wraparound frame that actually fits a larger head, without giving up safety-rated performance. If sunglasses usually feel tight or leave parts of your eye area exposed, the Breach XL line is designed to solve that with an XL fit and comfortable spring hinges that reduce pressure during all-day wear.
This clear-lens version is made for more than just sun days. Detour positions the Breach XL as an XL fishing sunglasses option, an everyday pair of shades, and a true piece of safety eyewear that meets ANSI Z87+ standards. The Z87+ collection meets ANSI Z.87 impact requirements, and these are stated as impact resistant and FDA + ANSI Z87+ approved.
Lens performance is built around durability in messy environments. The Breach Clear uses PC (polycarbonate) lenses, called out as a big upgrade over traditional TAC lenses. A salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier that helps protect against salt particles, while the hydrophobic coating repels water to keep vision clearer and reduce the need to wipe lenses dry—helping extend lens life over time. No slip rubber nose and temple tips help keep the frame in place when you’re moving.

FIT & SIZING
Fit Guide: Our Breach XL frame fits Large/XL faces best. XL sunglasses are roughly 8%-10% bigger than the average size; if sunglasses normally feel tight or don’t cover all of your eye region, you should try the XL. Frame measurements shown: 152 mm frame width, 65 mm lens width, 52 mm lens height, 19 mm bridge, 152 mm temple length.

Our Breach Clear uses PC (polycarbonate) lenses. This is a huge upgrade over traditional TAC lenses.

The salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier to protect against salt particles which helps extends the life of your lenses. The Hydrophobic coating will repel water keeping your vision clear and reducing the need to wipe your lenses dry, again extending the life of your lenses. Reducing the need to wipe saltwater (basically rubbing tiny salt particles into your lenses) is a huge plus to keeping your lenses in great shape.
