Breach - Matte Black - Clear ANSI Z87+ is built for anyone who needs clear-lens safety eyewear that meets ANSI Z87+ standards, without giving up everyday comfort. The clear lens option is straightforward: it is made to be worn when you need eye protection and a clean, neutral view.
This frame is set up for long wear with comfortable spring hinges, plus no slip rubber nose and temple tips to help keep the fit secure during the day. Each pair comes with a free Detour pouch for simple storage and carry.
Lens-wise, Breach Clear uses PC (polycarbonate) lenses, which Detour calls a big upgrade over traditional TAC lenses. The page also lists a salt resistant lens coating that adds a barrier to protect against salt particles and help extend lens life. A hydrophobic lens coating is included as well, described as repelling water to keep vision clear and reduce the need to wipe lenses dry, again extending lens life.
For compliance, Detour states their Z87+ collection meets ANSI Z.87 impact requirements, and that all ANSI Z87+ sunglasses are impact resistant and FDA + ANSI Z87+ approved. FIT & SIZING
Fit guide states: our Breach frame fits medium/large faces best. Measurements shown: 143 mm (front width), 61 mm (lens width), 42 mm (lens height), 17 mm (bridge), 143 mm (temple length).

Our Breach Clear uses PC (polycarbonate) lenses. This is a huge upgrade over traditional TAC lenses.

The salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier to protect against salt particles which helps extends the life of your lenses. The Hydrophobic coating will repel water keeping your vision clear and reducing the need to wipe your lenses dry, again extending the life of your lenses. Reducing the need to wipe saltwater (basically rubbing tiny salt particles into your lenses) is a huge plus to keeping your lenses in great shape.
