Breach - Matte Black - Deep Blue Polarized ANSI Z87+ is made for glare-heavy fishing days, everyday wear, and situations where you need safety eyewear that meets ANSI Z87+ standards. With polarized lenses and a wraparound-style fit, it’s designed to cut glare and help you see details on reflective surfaces while staying comfortable for long sessions outside.
This Breach model uses polarized PC (polycarbonate) lenses. Detour calls this a big upgrade over traditional TAC lenses because the lens material is injected around the polarized filter to help prevent layer separation that can be common in humid, high-temperature locations or if you store sunglasses in your car. For long-term lens performance around water, the salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier to help protect against salt particles and extend lens life. The hydrophobic coating repels water to keep vision clear and reduce the need to wipe your lenses dry—especially useful when spray, sweat, or rain is part of the day.
Breach includes comfortable spring hinges to help prevent a tight, squeezed feeling, plus no slip rubber nose and temple tips to keep the frame in place while you move. A free Detour pouch is included for storage and protection when you’re not wearing them.
Breach Deep Blue lenses feature an Amber base color, described as an all-around great choice that’s ideal for moderate light levels.

FIT & SIZING
Fit guide states: Our Breach frame fits medium/large faces best. Measurements shown: 143 mm (frame width), 61 mm (lens width), 42 mm (lens height), 17 mm (bridge), 143 mm (temple length).

This prevents these layers from ever separating which can be common in humid high temperature locations or if you store your sunglasses in your car. 

The salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier to protect against salt particles which helps extends the life of your lenses. The Hydrophobic coating will repel water keeping your vision clear and reducing the need to wipe your lenses dry, again extending the life of your lenses. Reducing the need to wipe saltwater (basically rubbing tiny salt particles into your lenses) is a huge plus to keeping your lenses in great shape.
