Breach XL - Matte Black - Deep Blue Polarized ANSI Z87+ is built for people who need a wraparound frame that actually fits a large head, without squeezing or slipping. This Breach XL pair is designed to work as an everyday shade, an XL fishing sunglass, or safety eyewear when ANSI Z87+ rated protection is required.
The Deep Blue lenses are polarized to cut glare and help define details on reflective surfaces, helping reduce eye strain in bright conditions. Breach Deep Blue lenses feature an amber base color, described as an all-around great choice that’s ideal for moderate light levels. The lenses are polarized PC (polycarbonate), with the lens material injected around the polarized filter to help prevent the layers from separating (delamination), which can be common in humid high-temperature locations or if you store your sunglasses in your car.
For salt, sweat, and spray, a salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier to protect against salt particles, helping extend the life of your lenses. A hydrophobic coating repels water to keep your vision clear and reduces the need to wipe lenses dry, which also helps limit rubbing salt particles into the surface. On the fit side, spring hinges add comfort for all-day wear, and no slip rubber nose and temple tips help keep the frame secure through movement.
If you’re buying these for work, this pair is ANSI Z87+ rated. The Z87+ collection meets ANSI Z.87 impact requirements, and all ANSI Z87+ sunglasses are impact resistant and FDA + ANSI Z87+ approved. Fits Large/XL faces best. Frame Measurements: Width 152 mm, Lens Width 65 mm, Bridge 19 mm, Height 52 mm. Our XL sunglasses are roughly 8%-10% bigger than our average size.

Our Breach line uses polarized PC (polycarbonate) lenses. This is a huge upgrade over traditional TAC lenses since the lens material is injected around the polarized filter. This prevents these layers from ever separating which can be common in humid high temperature locations or if you store your sunglasses in your car. 

The Salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier to protect against salt particles which helps extends the life of your lenses. The Hydrophobic coating will repel water keeping your vision clear and reducing the need to wipe your lenses dry, again extending the life of your lenses. Reducing the need to wipe saltwater (basically rubbing tiny salt particles into your lenses) is a huge plus to keeping your lenses in great shape.
